• July 2026 - Friederike is presenting the paper "Partners or Tools? Ethical Frames in Welfare Studies on Dogs and Horses in Animal Assisted Servies", co-authored with Peter Sandøe and Karen Thodberg, at the ISAZ - Conference Cracking Codes and Building Bridges: Exploring the Roles of Science, Practice, and Partnerships in Human-Animal Relationships, Paris.

• May 7th 2026 - Maude is participating in a round table: Table ronde: "Castration équine: entre science et conscience", with Anton Fürst, Dominik Burger and Gilles Thiébaud at Journées Suisses des Vétérinaires, Berne.

• May 7th 2026 - Maude is giving a conference titled:  "Quelles considérations éthiques dans le contexte de la castration des chevaux?", at Journées Suisses des Vétérinaires, Berne. The conference day is open to veterinarians.​

2025

• February 12th 2025 - I teach a continued education seminar at Sellenhof. The aim is to provide their team with applied knowledge on how to implement fun and pedagogically sound ethics and ethology exercises with children.

• February 22nd 2025 - I am an invited speaker for the conference Manifestations et évènements équestres dans le respect du bien-être du cheval at the Institut équestre national d'Avenches (IENA). The title of my talk is : "Pour le cheval ou pour le podium? Est-ce éthique de faire concourir son cheval?". To register for the conference, check out the IENA website here. • March 23rd 2025 - We co-lead (with Friederike Zenker and Milena Petignat) a Team Retreat Tierethik for compas - Institute für natur und tiergestützte Interventionen (Riehen).

• June 3rd to 5th 2025 - We attend (with Friederike Zenker) the international equine studies conference Equine Cultures in Transition, at the Manchester Metropolitan University. We will present a research paper titled Emancipatory Education for a Shared Equine-Human Community.

• September 25th 2025 - I teach a continued education seminar on animal ethics at the University of Fribourg : Explorer l'éthique animale (français). To register visit Service de la formation continue UniFr.

• November 1st 2025 - I am an invited speaker for the conference: Quand les chromosomes sexuels entrent en jeu. Étalons, hongre ou jument, qu'est-ce que ça change? at the Institut équestre national d'Avenches (IENA). • June 23rd 2024 - We co-teach (with Friederike Zenker and Milena Petignat) a workshop for children on themes in animal ethics, "Freundschaft mit Tieren: Ein spielerischer Workshop für Kinder", at Birkenhof (Ennetach, Germany).

• August 11th to 17th 2024 - I co-teach (with Mirjam Dill and Helmut Piller) a week long equine camp for children (8-14 years old), within which I run daily philosophical discussions on topics in equine philosophy and equine ethics. For more information see Sellenhof.

• May 4th 2023 - I will be presenting my research during Journées Vétérinaires Suisses 2023 during the day organized by Société des vétérinaires Suisses (SVS). My presentation is titled "L’éthique de l'euthanasie et de la fin de vie chez les chevaux et autres équidés: acteurs, compétences et situations narratives". You can access the abstract here.

• May 6th and 7th 2023 - I will be teaching our first meditation weekend of the year. In French.
